Watching this tree
Lose all its leaves
Holding its branch
As it’s slipping away
Standing in place
Hoping the seasons pass-
Without you falling fast asleep
will you pull up all your weeds
And have you found out if your dreaming
And do you wake up with the fear of letting down the ones you’re leaving
I think you do
I’ve been searching for you
You know I’ve been ill
Please don’t wake up
It only gets harder
We’re growing sour
So stop with this roller coaster
We finally seen your face
And you were your bleeding there
I saw the screen appear
With a half closed stare
Is it something I’ve been holding onto for when he comes back
Holding on. I’ll get back
I’ve been searching for you
You know I’ve been ill
I’ve been searching for you
You know I’ve been ill
I’ve been searching for you
You know I’ve been ill
Would you open up your trees
Would you open up your trees
I got this feeling that’s just sinking down
Sinking down on me
Would you open up these trees
I got another hug in me
(And do you wake up with the fear of letting down the ones you’re leaving)
I just fell to the floor
I couldn’t get up this morning
Then got another call
My brothers heart just sunk into the floor
(will you pull up all your weeds
And have you found out if your dreaming)
I hope you’re next to your father
And Rest In Peace together
Rest in peace together
Rest in peace together
Rest in peace together
Rest in peace
I’ve been, I’ve been searching for you. You know
I hope you’re next to your father
And Rest In Peace together
Rest in peace together
Rest in peace together
I hope you’re next to your father
And Rest In Peace together
Rest in peace together
Rest in peace
And rest in peace
And rest in peace

I got really into this album when I started my first job, which was night shifts. There's something about listening to math rock on repeat that either kills the song, or makes it a part of you. This definitely became a part of me and my late night productivity. anthracite

Elephant Gym has quickly become one of my favorite bands. They make oh-so-beautiful tunes and for me, exemplify the overlap between math rock and jazz. Johann Theo

I got to listen to some of these songs live during Origami Angel's tour in 2022, which was a really cool experience. I loved them enough to buy a CD!!! KZDEX
