Everything is great
That’s what they tell you when they silence your speech
Nothing you say will ever change a thing
Change your mind
You’ll fit in fine
They crush your soul once they’ve seen your gold baby
I retreat I retreat into the fold
Maybe my mistake my mistake
I didn’t know
Will it fade away fade away
Until the strings play another day
I sing the song where the sun use to shine
People started telling stories
On this controversial morning
Helping all these papers to burn
There’s people mourning in the streets
Like a locomotive churning
No one knows where this is going
Helping all these robots to learn
We are free
Break your thoughts, break your thoughts
Until the law becomes your god
My my my, it was in rewind
It took a little bit of time
So raise your arms, are you armed baby
I woke up, but if it’s too close
Then who’s to say
That every thought and every move feels like it was made to change your mind
Take your time and pay the crime
Sit back and re-rack your syntax while we watch the sun shine
People started telling stories
On this controversial morning
Helping all these papers to burn
There’s people mourning in the streets
Like a locomotive churning
No one knows where this is going
Helping all these robots to learn
We are free
It was a corporate clown. That that that took us down . It was that dumbass frown
Take back your will to fight back
Don’t stand in line
I’ll shine your shoes
Step back on their ribs
Their cracked bones
Be sure to shuffle
And skip your planning

I got really into this album when I started my first job, which was night shifts. There's something about listening to math rock on repeat that either kills the song, or makes it a part of you. This definitely became a part of me and my late night productivity. anthracite
Elephant Gym has quickly become one of my favorite bands. They make oh-so-beautiful tunes and for me, exemplify the overlap between math rock and jazz. Johann Theo
I got to listen to some of these songs live during Origami Angel's tour in 2022, which was a really cool experience. I loved them enough to buy a CD!!! KZDEX
