you don’t have to put yourself for sale
Don’t you see what I’ve been holding
Bless these skies while we’re still sober
Come back, reflect time, I’m older
Eventually eventually
I will eventually and gradually write you off
Eventually eventually
I will eventually and gradually write you off
Time means nothing without you and I
Save your fears if you are home
You seem to know it all
I seem to know what you know
Everything is fair under this square
Watching you fall apart
You seem to know it all
I seem to know what you know
Everything is scared
Nothing is prepared
Watch it get ripped from your arms
And I’ll swallow this down right through my whole system
My fingertips still rushing this way
I feel like I won’t stop talking the same
I’m older, I’m older, I’m older
Don’t you see what I’ve been holding
Bless these skies while we’re still sober
Come back, reflect time, I’m older
Don’t you sweat it, I still own it
I own it, I’m older
I own it, I’m older
I own it, I’m older
I own it, I’m older
I own it, I’m older
I own it, I own it, I own it
I got really into this album when I started my first job, which was night shifts. There's something about listening to math rock on repeat that either kills the song, or makes it a part of you. This definitely became a part of me and my late night productivity. anthracite
Elephant Gym has quickly become one of my favorite bands. They make oh-so-beautiful tunes and for me, exemplify the overlap between math rock and jazz. Johann Theo
I got to listen to some of these songs live during Origami Angel's tour in 2022, which was a really cool experience. I loved them enough to buy a CD!!! KZDEX
